Poker – When to Stop Playing

We often regret the long game (for private happiness, we feel, a couple of players that led us to). It would have been better, we always realize too late, to have left early. If we had left, would we have tortured by the question Pokerwhether we should continue, but with too much at the moment is definitely worse, with the last hours lost in a horrible experience. What’s worse, we can’t really say why we are so long and we probably have to repeat the same mistake the next time we inevitably arise at the table. One should definitely use their powers of reasoning logically analyzing the situation to determine whether they should hold or fold. You know when the airport so you won’t miss the plane for that important business meeting. If you are hanging on in despair waiting for that winning hand and miss your chance to get to the airport on time, you do get stressed. You won’t play well, you missed the plane and that important meeting. You’re also harming yourself and your career.

Poker is intended as entertaining. If you’re not, that’s almost the only reason to run away early for the match is a tragedy of poor play and a poorer state of mind. Many players start the game of poker for recreational purposes. If the game is overwhelming and they can not leave, but neither can they play a decent game, no longer should be recreation. They can stay in a kind of guilt, penance by playing badly and losing. And they continue to suffer greater losses with each new deal, instead of taking their medications with a maturity, while maintaining their good character and understanding that it’s just a game after all.

The first step in understanding this behavior is to realize that the problem lies in the poker game itself. It lies in you and your perseverance in continuing to play and losing in a”fun”which is useless and unproductive and you are not having fun. This is avoided and self-deception at best, not related to poker.
